The purpose of this 'Support' area of this website is to provide users with general support information for various situations and questions that we notice come up repeatedly. It is similar to a "FAQ" (Frequently Asked Questions) base, but not as organized.

Our support articles are not meant to be a comprehensive or definitive source, but are meant to provide a level of help in simple terms that we hope will help get users on the right track to enable them to fix some of the more common problems and/or answer some basic questions that frequently occur.

Set Up 'Internet Guide' With DYN.com to help PROTECT your computer from harmful Websites.

We recommend using "internet Guide" from DYN.com . It is basically the same thing and a replacement for "Clear Cloud DNS" - it is a special DNS (Domain Name Server) that replaces your 'default DNS' and gives added protection.

Setting up 'Internet Guide' on your computer (or router, if wanted) is FREE and the instructions are easy to follow. It basically entails just changing your current DNS IP Address to a different one that will actively 'filter' your web page requests

Follow the link and follow the easy instructions - you do not have to be an IT Support person to do this, the instructions are easy to follow and the service is free:

NOTE: ClearCloud DNS Server from Sunbelt Security is discontinued as of September 1, 2011. The above is a good replacement strategy.

See Sunbelt Security website for information on Vipre and Vipre FIrewall.
